NCB, Neo-Cross-Bruno-System GmbH, was founded in December 2014 with the objective of developing an until then "sleeping asset" in Croatia. All five private shareholders are experienced in the financial sector - in particular high end asset management with a strong focus on real assets. They have all been in business for more than 20 years. Developing their own olive grove, they are recently having a dream come true.
Between 2006 and 2008 preliminary works had been executed. 2008 we made the application for the land. After that nothing happened until in spring 2015 we were awarded the land. Months of advocacy work were to come in order to formally obtain the land including a final land register entry. First investments were made as well. On 20.000 m² we established an outdoor-showroom. The sleeping beauty turned into an agricultural area with first olive trees starting to grow. By now there is also an herb garden and a special area for cultivating Helichrysum Italicum. We have electricity and water, a kitchen, a barbecue and toilettes. Two stone houses have been built for internal business processes. Additionally, we have a hardy, covered place for 40 persons. In summer 2015 we welcomed several holiday guests of the Falkensteiner Hotels.
Recently we are preparing the acquisition of a listed building, that is located immediately beside our property. It is the former elementary school of the neighbouring village, which was used in the 1960s and 1970s. On an area of approximately 8.000 m² with about 300 m² effective/living space we will establish a 4-star reception with bistro, that will take care of our landlords. The building location permits for our authentic stone houses are supposed to be granted bey end of June 2016. With conclusion of contract in 2016 the first buyers may already move into their new abode by autumn 2016 – just in time for the olive harvest.
